1 John 2:3 With me, your chief, you then shall know, Shall feel your sins forgiven; Anticipate your heaven below, And own, that love is heaven. 1 John ii. 3. Father, if I have sinn'd, with thee An advocate I have: Jesus the just shall plead for me, The sinner Christ shall save. Pardon and peace in him I find; But not for me alone The Lamb was slain; for all mankind His blood did once atone. My soul is on thy promise cast, And lo!
