83. Blindness. 332. Is often cured by-cold Bathing : 333. Or, by electrifying : Tried. This has cured even a Gutta Serena of twenty-four Years ftanding. Eyes dim or decay'd. 334. Use Eye-bright Tea daily : 335. Or, powder'd Eye-bright, both in Meat and Drink. Dull Sight. 336. Drop in two or three Drops of Juice of rotten Apples often.. 86. Films. 337. Dry Zibethum Occidentale, i . e . Stercus umanum, flowly ; powder it fine, and blow it into the Eye twice or thrice a Day: 338. Or, take the white Part of Hens- Dung, carefully dried, with an equal Quantity of burnt Alum and double- refined Sugar ; fift them and blow a little into the Eye at going to bed. 339. Or, mix Juice of Ground-ivy with a little Honey, and two or three Grains of Bay- Salt. Drop it in Morning and Evening. 87. Hot 87. Hot orfharp Humours. 340. Beat the White of an Egg into Water, in which mix fine Sugar, and drop it into theEye : 341. Or, apply a few Drops of a Syrup made with double- refined Sugar, melted in Brandy. Tried. 342. Or, drop in Juice of Daifies Morning and Evening. 343. Or, boil a Handful of Bramble-leaves with a little Alum in a Quart of Spring Water to a Pint. Drop this frequently into the Eye, This likewife fpeedily cures Cankers or any Sores. 344. Or, lay a thin flice of raw Beef on the Nape of the Neck : Tried. 88. Eyes inflam'd. 345. Apply as a Poultis, boil'd, roafted, or rotten Apples warm : 346. Or, a thick Apple-paring lying down in Bed: 347. Or, Wormwood-tops with the Yolk of an Egg: This will hardly fail . 348. Or, beat up the White of an Egg with two Spoonfuls of white Rofe Water into a white Froth. Apply this on a fine Rag, changing it fo that it may not grow dry, ' till the Eye is well : Tried..
