41. An Hyfterick Cholic.+ 191. Mrs. Watts, by ufing the Cold Bath two and twenty Times in a Month, was entirely cured of an Hyfterick Cholic, Fits, and convulfive Motions, continual Sweatings and Vomiting, wandering Pains in her Limbs and Head, with total Lofs of Appetite. 192. In the Fit drink half a Pint of Water with a little Wheat-flower in it, and a Spoonful of Vinegar: 193. Or, ofwarm Lemonade : Tried . 194. Or, a Glafs full of Vinegar : 195. Or, take 20, 30, or 40 Drops of Balfam of Peru on fine Sugar : If need be, take this twice or thrice a Day : 196. Or, in Extremity, boil three Ounces of Bur dock feed in Water, which give as a Clyfter. 197. Or, twenty Drops of Laudanum, in any proper Clyfter, which thus injected give inftant: Eafe.. 42. Cholic + Is attended with a violent Pain about the Pit ofthe Stomach, with great Sinking of the Spirits, and often with greenish Vomitings.This is frequently term'd the dry Belly-ach. It often contines feveral Days, with little Urine, and obstinate Coftiveness.
