thy God thanksgivings, and pay thy heart to the Most Highest" Without this he will not be pleased, though thou shouldest give him thousands of rams, or all thy substance to the poor. It is written, " Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." Be hold, love is the worship of thy Lord, this alone is his reasonable service ; therefore, thou shalt delight in the Lord thy God, and him only «halt thou serve.
