Thou hast in triumph led Our enemies and thine, And more than Conqueror display'd Th' omnipotence divine: We see them all before Thy bleeding cross subdued, And prostrate at thy feet adore The One eternal God. God did the testament injoin, Which God confirm'd with his own blood: The man who did his life resign, Was proper, true, eternal God, God indivisible, and One, Jehovah's fellow, and his Son.
