We did not deem it necessary to provide parallel individual citations in Scripture Hymns (1762) for occurrences in these various manuscript collections. In this second volume, on page 293, Wesley (or the printer) mistakenly numbered two consecutive hymns in the New Testament section "556." (Ordered by Scripture reference) Jeremiah Jeremiah (cont.)
