Page 266 'Till glad I lay this body down, Thy servant, Lord, attend, And O! My life of mercies crown With a triumphant end! "I will make mention of thy righteousness only." Psalm lxxi. 15.76 Let others of their virtue boast, And call it all their own, I in the only merit trust Of God's most holy Son: The righteousness by Jesus wrought Shall all my evil hide, 'Till deep into my Spirit brought It shews me sanctified. "Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides thee." Psalm lxxiii. 25. O my all-sufficient God, Thou know'st my heart's desire, Be this only thing bestow'd, I nothing else require, Nothing else in earth or skies, In time, or in eternity: Heaven itself could not suffice: I seek not thine, but thee. "Whom have I in heaven but thee?" Psalm lxxiii. 25. Thou art the thing, th' eternal Word For which my spirit sighs! Not all thy gifts and graces, Lord, Can without thee suffice: 76Ori.
