Be they strong, or void of might, Many, O Lord, or few, Thou dost for thy people fight, And all their foes subdue: Thou wilt more than conquer mine, Who weak as helpless infancy, Apprehend thro' faith divine The power of God in thee. "Help us O Lord our God, for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude." II. Chron. xiv. 11.
