Page 159 In holy services divine That we might all our strength employ, Might body, soul, and spirit join, And dance before the Lord for joy. "Michal despised him in her heart." II. Sam. vi. 16. Shall David do so mean a thing, The soldier, statesman, and the king Lead up the superstitious croud, And play, and leap, and dance for God! "Michal said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day!
