When I first heard of your marriage, I was afraid of two things See letter of April 7.: the one was, that it would hurt your soul; the other, that it would prevent your usefulness at least, that you would not be useful in so high a degree as otherwise you might be. But your last letter has given me much satisfaction. I now hope that your own soul has suffered no loss; and likewise that you will find many opportunities of doing good and will improve them to the uttermost. I want you to do the will of God below as angels do above.
