Much may be said on both sides. I am afraid you have been too severe with Mr. Walker. Clarke says in a letter to Wesley on Dec. 20, 1786, that George Walker furnished his board gratis. See Dunn's Clarke, p. 32; and letters of Oct. 2o, 1787, and Jan. 8, 1788. I am persuaded there is much good in him, otherwise he would have washed his hands of the Methodists.
