If you find out the cause of heaviness or darkness, you are more than half-way to the cure. If Jenny Johnson See letter of Aug. 4, 1770. is throughly sensible of her fault, you may trust her; if not, she should not meet in band. As your mind is tender and easily moved, you may readily fall into inordinate affection; if you do, that will quickly darken your soul. But watch and pray, and you shall not enter into temptation.
